Alvalyn Lundgren is an artist, designer, photographer and teacher of art and design. A Christian for most of her life, she grew up in a “mainline” protestant church where scriptural study and intellectual understanding were emphasized. In her late twenties, she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. As a “charismatic” Christian, her desire is to communicate and demonstrate the truth of the Bible and to share the experience of God’s love and forgiveness in a practical way. 

Alvalyn facilitates a small group Bible study in her home and leads the design communications team at her church.

This blog is based on thoughts and revelations that come during her daily quiet time of Bible study and prayer. This quiet time consists of reading and studying scripture, journaling and a mug of hot coffee. She believes that a daily time alone with God is crucial for having a good relationship with God and to be equipped to handle life’s curve balls and disappointments, to know what is true and to encourage others.
